The Rape of the Vampires

1968
d Jean Rollin
This Rollin guy is really checking all the boxes. Some guy on the internet said it wasnt actually that rapey and that its good. It looks good. Lady vampires vs. a psychoanalist. Put out by Power House.

The Shiver of the Vampires

1971
d Jean Rollin
psychadelic vampire hippies. It looks like Rollin really has a vibe. We have seen Fascination (it was ok) and The Living Dead Girl (it was good) Rollin doesn't worry too much about constructing a sensible narrative, which is nice.

Edit: so much protential... she should have (and could have) killed those dudes. Rollin really dropped the ball here.

The Women 1939

d: George Cukor c: Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russel
